Terms and Conditions
Chef & Co. Solutions offers two core services:
Chef Hire Services: Temporary chef hire services at all stages.
Rates:
Monday - Friday
Chef de Partie – $55/hour
Sous Chef – $65/hour
Head Chef – $75/hour
Additional Charges:
Weekends/Public Holidays: Higher rates apply and will be included in your quote.
Travel Fee: $50 surcharge per 30-minute round-trip drive, if applicable.
Hospitality Consulting: Operational support for kitchens, staff, and workflow improvement.
Initial Assessment Fee:
An initial kitchen assessment is charged at a flat rate of $150 per hour. This fee covers evaluation and reporting only, and does not include implementation. Assessments are conducted over an 8-hour workday, Monday to Friday, with the total duration depending on the complexity of the project.
Service Charges:
Post-assessment services are priced based on the specific area and complexity of the improvements required. Implementation may include, but is not limited to:
Kitchen Setup & Layout Optimisation
Seasonal Menu Planning
Ingredient Sourcing
Cost Control Strategies
Modern Plating Techniques
Charges will only apply to the identified areas for improvement, with rates determined based on the scope and complexity of each solution recommended during the evaluation.
“Chef & Co. Solutions”: A registered Australian sole trader business.
“Client”: The individual or business engaging our services.
“Services”: Includes chef hire and consulting.
Services may be booked as one-off.
Confirmations must be made in writing, via email or signed quote.
Changes to agreed scope, time, or schedule must be approved in writing.
Invoices must be paid within 14 days.
Late payments may incur additional charges.
Retainers are billed in advance unless otherwise agreed.
Travel and extra charges will be itemised.
Client Cancellations:
7+ days: No charge
48–7 days: 50% of the fee
Less than 48 hours: 100% of the fee
Provider Cancellations:
Full refund if Chef & Co. cancels due to emergency or illness.
Both parties agree to keep all confidential information private.
Includes recipes, training materials, business data, and strategies.
Obligation continues beyond service completion.
All materials created by Chef & Co. Solutions remain our property.
Clients receive a limited license for internal use only.
Reproduction, sharing, or publication without consent is prohibited.
We comply with all WHS and food safety laws.
Clients must ensure their premises are safe.
Unsafe environments may result in paused or cancelled services.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services indicates your acceptance of the latest version.
Liability Disclaimer:
Chef & Co. Solutions will exercise reasonable care, skill, and professionalism in delivering all services. However, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of our services, except where such losses result directly from proven negligence or misconduct on our part.
